Visting Pasadena
The City of Pasadena is located in Southern California, 11 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains.

Pasadena City College (PCC)
PCC is in the City of Pasadena, in the center of Los Angeles County. We are bounded by the San Gabriel Mountains and the Angeles National Forest to the north and by the cities of Glendale, Alhambra, and Arcadia to the west, south, and east, respectively.

Driving
​
There are two main freeways, the 210 and the 110 that run through Pasadena. Additional freeways, like the 134, 710, and 605 connect several miles outside of the city limits. Get driving directions to PCC here.

Parking
Parking at PCC is $2.00/day. Attendees may park in Student Parking LOT 3, 4, or 5. Get a map of the campus here.

Flying
​
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
LAX is about 30 miles southwest of Pasadena. Total driving time from the airport can take up to an hour or more. Transportation options out of LAX can be found on this page.

Car Rental
There are a number of car rental companies to choose from at LAX. The LAX car rental webpage has more information.

Bus/Train
There is a Flyaway Bus that leaves from LAX and stops at Downtown LA Union Station (LA Metro hub). From Union Station, you can take the Metro L line (gold line) to Pasadena. Disembark the train at Allen Station. Total trip time is about 1 hour 30minutes. PCC is approximately 2 blocks (0.7 miles) southwest of Allen Station.

This is a smaller, local airport, located about 15 miles away from Pasadena. It is a good alternative to LAX if you can find a flight. Transportation options from Burbank Airport can be found here.
